Dr. Kumar is honored to provide flags, ceremonially flown over the State Capitol, to schools and non- profit organizations and entities.
If you or your organization wants Dr. Kumar to present the Tennessee State or US flag at your upcoming ceremony, please inform our office at least 2 weeks before so that proper arrangements can be made. Flags are 3′ by 5′ and come with a certificate noting when they were flown over the State Capitol in honor of the person or the entity!

If you know of an exceptional achievement or contribution by a citizen, a landmark anniversary for an organization, Church or business, or a worthy event that needs State recognition, please call or send an email to our office. We will create an official Proclamation by the General Assembly to honor the citizen, the entity or the event! Dr Kumar will present this himself in celebration!
Capitol Tours
Dr. Kumar is always happy to meet and greet citizens of Robertson County to discuss issues of interest. Visitors are welcome to make an appointment or drop by our legislative office when the General Assembly is in session.
Meetings and tours of the Capitol are of great interest, cosidering the rich history and great happenings in our state.

Speaking Requests
Dr. Kumar regularly speaks at meetings of Civic Organizations, Church Gatherings, School Groups and Graduations regarding Societal, Community and Legislative Happenings. Mrs Kumar has also played an integral part with good cheer! They really enjoy these events and are available to address gatherings in Robertson County. They make it fun!

M entoring & Internships
Dr. Kumar is uniquely qualified to mentor and guide young people.
Those interested in Health Professions were able to spend time with him in his surgical office or in the Surgical Operating Room! Although Dr. Kumar is now retired, the mentees can still visit with him, seek advice and review plans for their career.
He has enjoyed guiding students towards a career path that provides a road map to entry into Medical School and Healthcare professions.
Internship and Floor Page opportunities are available at the General Assembly during annual sessions that last from January to May each year. These allow the students to learn about government and legislative functions.
